When we had to cancel the winter Carol Service we made a commitment to have a similar style of service later on in the year.
As publicised at the end of last term, this Saturday (7th May) at 10.30am we are holding a Service of Praise and Celebration in Bakewell Parish Church. We hope that as many parents as possible will be able to come, and join the school and choir as we come together as a community. The service should last just over an hour.
The service is entirely optional for year 3 pupils, although the Junior Choir will be singing so choir members are encouraged to come in. Any year 3s who do come should go directly to the church and check-in with Mrs Elvin or Mrs Young. Other pupils will be taken down to the church by form tutors.
After the service, there will be refreshments for parents in the Foster Common Room.
