2nd VII v Westbourne Won 23-0

After a strong warm up the team were ready to play. We lost the toss and Westbourne took the first centre pass. Our first goal was scored by Ella N, with a quick sweep into the back corner of the goal. This was followed quickly by eleven more making it 12 – 0 to S.Anselm's by half time.

After a serious chat with Mr Brock at half time, who was umpiring our game, we decided to change the way we played in the second half. Our aim was to concentrate on our key skills and keep possession of the ball, moving it around the pitch, in order for our team to get more out of the game. That said we still took advantage of scoring opportunities and managed to claim another eleven in this half.

Our goalies and backs  were rarely troubled in this game, with us attacking for the majority of it. That said, the entire team contributed to this good result, demonstrating great sportsmanship and good play throughout the match.
