S. Anselm's 103-9 (25 overs) beat
Derby Grammar School 41 all out (17.4 overs) by 62 runs
The 2nd XI go from strength to strength with another fine team performance securing another victory. Batting first Ben D and John B had a steady opening partnership scoring 15 and 10 respectively. But the main contributor to the S.Anselm's total was
once again Ollie N who struck the ball cleanly in his innings of 34 which included 6 fours.The other batsmen all tried valiantly and a total of 103-9 was posted from the allotted 25 overs.
When fielding Digby D delivered a ferocious opening bowling spell which saw him dismiss 3 Derby batsmen in his first two overs. He was well supported by all of the other bowlers with Edward H one wicket, John B two wickets, Ollie N one wicket, Ben D one wicket and a couple of run outs helping to dismiss Derby for 41 and thus record another comfortable win.
