S.Anselm’s 123-7 (19 overs) beat Foremarke Hall 121-9 (34 overs) by 3 wickets
On a fine afternoon on bottom field, the second XI put in a very good team performance. Fielding first there was some tight opening bowling from Digby D and Edward H with Edward taking the first wicket. The other bowlers John B, Oliver N, Ben D, Jacques T and Freddie R-S all performed well with wicketsd falling at regular intervals, three to Oliver, two for Freddie and one for John. At the declaration Foremarke were 121-9 from 34 overs. The opening bowler from Foremarke was a good bowler and soon took a wicket and wickets began to fall regularly, but Ben D made 14, Oliver N 17, Oliver H 27 and with extras making a significant contribution the target was scored with the loss of 7 wickets in only 19 overs a great team performance.
