Foremarke Hall 268 for 4 from 30 overs S. Anselms 110 all out Foremarke Hall won by 158 runs
The 2nd XI lost a very one sided match by a large margin. Bowling first the side failed to bowl consistent lines and length after initially taking two quick wickets. The bowlers were punished severely by two good Foremarke batsmen who put together a 200 run partnership. Foremarke posted an intimidating 268 for 4 in their 30 overs . The S.Anselm’s innings began disastrously with a flurry of wicket and only Alfred H standing firm finally being out for 38. Toby S produced a few lusty blows scoring 15, but only Freddie R-S made double figures scoring 23 and S.Anselm’s fell 158 runs short of their target. A lot of work is required in practices on improving batting techniques and bowling consistently.
