This was a terribly disappointing game and the team (and their coach) were really frustrated.  A lack of verve and gutsy determination meant that we let in two or more tries through casual errors and we lost opportunities near their line at critical moments.

The rucking was not what it has been and our tackling was poor in the middle of the field.  We threw the ball away with poor passing at times and, though some runners penetrated the opposition line, they did not have the support of others.

This was a lack-lustre performance particularly when you consider that Mount Saint Mary’s were not huge and fearsome.  In fact this was a game we could have won.

There were some positive individual performances and moments when we looked good but these were all too fleeting!
