3rd VII v Foremarke Hall Lost 25-3

For our first fixture we travelled away to Foremarke. The squad comprised of 9 girls, ensuring every girl in Years 7 and 8 had a game today.

We went out onto the court with a very positive attitude and this never diminished, but unfortunately we were out played in every quarter with the Foremarke GA and GS never missing a shot. However our team, in various combinations, battled really hard and never gave up once. The final score was a loss, but I did congratulate all the girls for their hard work. It also gave us chance to try new combinations and many of the girls had to change position:

Fran B played Goal Keeper.

Hannah S played Goal Attack, Goal Shooter and Goal Defence.

Roxanne B played Centre.

Harriet R played Wing Attack.

Erin S played Wing Defence and Goal Attack (2 goals).

Issy H played Goal Attack and Goal Defence.

Immy H played Wing Attack and Wing Defence.

Ella T played Goal Shooter (1 goal).

Ella R played Goal Defence and Goal Shooter.

I selected two players of the match. The first was Roxanne B for her efforts and energy in a key position on court. Secondly I also selected Erin S for her contribution in defence and attack where she scored 2 goals.
