3rd XI v Denstone College Lost by 9 wickets

S. Anselm's  37 all out    Denstone College  38 for 1 wicket

This was a really hard fixture with Denstone winning the toss and putting S.Anselm’s into bat. Denstone's opening bowlers soon began to decimate the ranks with one bowler taking two wickets in the 2^nd over and going on to remove another four batsmen. The battling S. Anselm’s side were really up against it and despite some good decisions they were only able to clock up 37 runs. Best batting performance was Matthew B with 5 runs.The Denstone side quickly knocked off the runs, with some careless wides adding to the score. A good wicket was taken by Matthew B, but it was not enough and the total required was surpassed on the 30^th ball.

Man of the match was Matthew B.
