3rd XI v Ranby House Drew 3-3

At half time we were 3-0 up thanks to some great defending (galvanised by Henry T) and some strong attacking play too. Alex W, Mat N, Andy C, Henry F and Patrick C were superb upfront, threading careful passes to each other and setting a furious pace. Despite some poor finishing we managed to push three shots past the goalie by the early part of the second half. We placed four reserves on after half time who played with great gusto but our side was a little disrupted by this and Ranby raised their game. With three minutes left before the game ended Ranby managed to equalise. This was a magnificent game and a high standard for a 3rd team. The boys should be very proud of themselves.
