At S. Anselm's we like to think that every day is an Open Day and warmly welcome prospective families who would like to come and have a look around the school.
Our Open Days this term are as follows:
Whole School Open morning
Saturday 4th March 2017
9.30am to midday
College Information Evening
Monday 8th May 2017
5.30pm to 7.00pm
Guests at our open days are always greeted and given a tour by one of our current pupils, so we ask prospective visitors to call to the school office in advance to say they will be attending on 01629 812734 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you would prefer to arrange a separate visit and tour at a more conveninent time, we would be more than happy to arrange this for you. Please call the Headmaster's secretary on 01629 812734 or email email@example.com.
Applying from Abroad
Boarding at S. Anselm’s is an extremely attractive choice for overseas pupils. The boarding staff are extremely caring and supportive and the teachers are well placed to ensure that their specific academic needs are met. The school is at the heart of a National Park so the local environment is beautiful and typically English. Every year, pupils from overseas are accepted into the school but the majority of boarders are British. Hence, the school ensures that overseas pupils feel welcomed into a warm environment but that they are also surrounded by English culture and quickly develop their language. The school is centrally located in England and is close to major airports and motorways.
Information for Forces Families
Boarding at S. Anselm’s is an extremely attractive and popular choice for service parents and children. There are large numbers of boarders in the school. Thus, the weekends are full and vibrant, and the children are always busy (our weekend reports which you can find on this website will give you a flavour of just how busy and fun packed they are). With a long association with service families, the boarding staff are very well equipped to deal with the specific concerns such children may have and they constantly ensure that parents are kept up to date with the progress of their children. The central location of the school and the generous fee remission ensure that the school remains a popular destination for children with parents in the forces.
We have a number of Service families who are happy to talk "off the record" to any prospective Service families about the excellent boarding provision and those matters which are particular to parents in your situation. Please contact the office for these parents’ numbers.
