S. Anselm’s School Library
At S. Anselm’s, we believe that the library is the hub of our school: a place where children go to retrieve information and to feed their imaginations. We aim to support the learning of pupils and to foster the reading habit by providing pupils with the best books from the classics to recent best-sellers. Our Reading List is updated regularly and we seek feedback from pupils to ensure that they have access to the books they want to read.
The library has a new catalogue, now searchable online, including all of the books in the temporary library, as well as many thousands of approved websites. You can access the catalogue by entering http://u006022.microlibrarian.net into your web browser.
The first time you access the system it may ask you to install Microsoft Silverlight; please allow this to be downloaded and installed on your computer as the system cannot run without it.
There is also an App called ‘iMLS’, available for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android & Windows Phone 7. This App can be freely downloaded by going to your App provider and searching ‘iMLS’.
We believe that having the library accessible in this way, and having parents engaged with reading, will help to support our commitment to improving our pupils’ literacy. Your child has recently received their login details for the new system. If parents would like to track their child’s borrowing history, their logon details are stuck onto their Planner.
