With the exams finished, Year 6 were challenged to make a pyramid and a honey comb using only card, balloons and sellotape. Initially they calculated how many individual balloons they would need to make their structure, and then how many bags they would need to buy based on 25 balloons per bag.
After an initial set back in their ability to blow up the balloons (pumps were drafted in!), they set about the challenges with gusto, working very well in small teams. The end results were fabulous.
