Mr Price's Latin set celebrated their phenomenal Common Entrance success with fizzy pop and cake yesterday! 90% of the grades from this class were A or A* so Mr Price felt that such a reward was well deserved after all their hard work. He pointed out that, far from being a dead language, Latin is highly respected by senior schools and that having firm foundations in this language assists pupils hugely in the future as they go off to be doctors, lawyers, accountants, scientists and so on.
Well done indeed to all the Latinists- they came, they learnt and they conquered!
