We aim to award at least one bursary each year to a child or children who are aged 7 or 8 on September 1st. The candidates are not tested on their academic, artistic, musical or sporting ability but we are seeking deserving children who will cope well with, and make the most of, every opportunity that a S. Anselm's education has to offer. A continuation bursary will be offered by six senior independent schools.
Parents of the candidates will be asked to complete a confidential Statement of Financial Circumstances and the award will be made for up to 100% of all educational fees. The closing date for completed applications is by the end of the autumn term in December.
If you would like your child to be considered for the award for entry in September 2010, please apply to the Finance Manager at the school or email foundation@anselms.co.uk for an application form.
S.Anselm's Bursary Fund has been extremely fortunate to be the beneficiary of a very generous legacy from the late Mrs. Brenda Bower but although we have sufficient funds for the three bursary pupils at present in the school, we urgently need to raise further funds so that we can continue to award bursaries. The aim is to make the Bursary Fund sustainable so that we can make the awards from income rather than capital, which is the case at present.
Making a Donation
Please support the Foundation and help us achieve our aims. Any donation, however small, will help us to get one step nearer to our goal. If you are able to make a substantial donation, we can consider ways of acknowledging this permanently within the school. Donations can be made in single payments, or by monthly contributions by direct debit. Regular UK tax payers are able to gift aid donations which can greatly increase the amount. Please contact Ian Bourke, Finance Manager or email foundation@anselms.co.uk.
Thank you.
