Many thanks to all those who braved a fairly hostile November night to attend our first Ceilidh. It was a great way to get the boarders and day children together at the end of a long exeat. More than 150+ turned up and it was good to see everyone get stuck in and do some dancing.
Especially well done to those pupils who joined the band to provide musical accompaniment.
It proved hot work for some, and was not quite the gentle activity that some had thought it might be. It was great to see fathers dancing with daughters and mothers with sons. The possibilities for embarrassing your children were endless!
Huge thanks to Mrs Dumpleton and her band who provided great entertainment for all.
It was fantastic to see everyone entering into the spirit and really enjoying themselves…… well almost everyone!
