S. Anselm's enjoys an unrivalled setting in 18 acres of beautiful Peak District countryside.
The school has excellent facilities, both in and outside the classroom. A Millennium redevelopment project has resulted in a new sports hall, an updated library, a 250 seat theatre, a new Information Technology Centre and a Design and Technology Workshop.
The result is a collection of updated buildings, mixing the old with the new, with modern, light and airy classrooms at the heart of the school. There is a purpose built Music Department and two laboratories for the teaching of science.
The Foundation Board is delighted to announce that the Swimming Pool complex is now completed and is being enjoyed by children of all ages throughout the school. The 20 metre long pool is now being used for regular swimming lessons and for the children's recreation and it will shortly be shared with the members of the local community. The large room above has become a very welcoming common room for the children where they can relax and play pool, table football, watch television and generally enjoy themselves.
Outside there are pitches, courts and practice areas for rugby, hockey, soccer, cricket, tennis, rounders, athletics and swimming.
