Garden Party Sunday 27th June

Garden Party Sunday 27th June

This Sunday was quite glorious!

Helen Lings led an uplifting Leavers' Service where we caught a rare glimpse of the murky corners of the 5th Years' lives as they recounted various tales from their days at S. Anselm's. I still don't know what David did at Wrekin....... perhaps that is for the best!

Soon after, many pupils went out for lunch with their parents whilst those on site were spoilt with a special buffet lunch. Then, in the scorching sunshine, the 2010 S. Anselm's  Garden Party kicked off and not even the dismal England performance could wipe the smiles off everyones faces. This was S. Anselm's at its best - children, parents and teachers having fun in the sun!

The scene is set! An enormous "THANK YOU" to the mass of parents, pupils and staff who were so heavily involved in making sure the party went so well and was such a hugely enjoyable day. Here is a glimpse of the action.....

The kids don't have all the fun!

One of the many perks of being Head Boy!

HEEEEAVE!

Giving it some welly!

Hello up there!

Ping!

And finally....... sweeeeeeeet revenge!

Next Sunday is the "Chatsworth Walk". We shall leave straight after the morning service at about 11.15am. Remember the sun tan cream / hats and so on (a mac might be useful too!). The walk will go ahead come rain or shine. We shall picnic at the bower at Chatsworth and parents are more than welcome to bring picnics and hampers. Please do park in the main Chatsworth car park if you are driving. Walkers will arrive at the bower at about 1pm. Dogs, grannies, grampas, aunts, friends, friends of friends are all welcome! We very much hope you can make it!
