Parent Child Golf Day
The sun shone and you could quickly tell who had been using their summer holidays to practice! The defending champion Sir Richard FitzHerbert secretly admitted to a sneaky round on the Brailsford course just days before. The matches were played in the proper spirit and there was lots of laughing going on.
Team Tear & Salisbury got the competition underway followed by the Howards with their adopted son.

Then came the Dudgeons and Caans

And the final group of celebrities included the defending champs, the Headmaster and his long suffering partner Hugo, and Mr Rick and the Laws.

In the end some really superb golf won the day with 34 points, the Salisburys ran home as winners. Hot on their heels were the 2009 winners Team Howard. The Defending Champs were 3rd, the Headmaster 4th, and the Tears 5th, Caans 6th, Rick/Law 7th, Howard 2nd string were 8th, and Mr Dudgeon came home with a huge smile on his face.

Thank you for all who took part: it was a great afternoon of golf with some cracking shots played by everyone along the way.

Special mention needs to go to our "Photographer on wheels": Mango, who sped around the course on his buggy taking pictures and giving people lifts!
