History Trip To Little Moreton Hall

History Trip To Little Moreton Hall

Thanks to Mr Salt, Year 5 were treated to a magnificent day out at this fabulous Tudor house. The sun shone on us throughout most of the day and the children explored this rambling building, played Tudor games, got dressed up and made herbal bags to ward off evil smells. They had a magnificent time and learned a great deal about life in the Tudor age in preparation for projects they will be doing later this term. Many thanks to Mr Salt for organising this and to Mrs Pryor for coming along for artistic inspiration!

We learnt a great deal about how the Moreton family lived and worked in the 16th century. Ludo L proved to be a dab hand at Tudor games and as you can see below Henry T enjoyed ALL the comforts available in Tudor times too!
