Last year's junior house matches did not take place due to the frozen pitches, but it was mild and damp for this year's. Our four captains, Evie D, Livi BD, Laura D and Emily H did a fantastic job motivating and organising their teams. The year 6 girls displayed good stick skills and a steely determination. The year 5 girls, still undefeated in their matches this season, also worked hard, distributing the ball effectively and making well times tackles. The years 3 and 4 girls have made super progress this season and really got stuck in, often tackling older more experienced players and sometimes winning the ball. Their involvement and confidence really developed as the afternoon progressed. well played everybody and thanks to Mrs Elvin and Mrs Whawell for their support with the umpiring and the organisation of the teams. Finally special thanks to all the parents for making the atmosphere so positive and for supporting all the girls. Well played everybody!
