Music tour countdown: Lincoln Cathedral concert

On Thursday 12 March, the Music Tour party departing for Austria on Monday, performed a recital in the Chapter House at Lincoln Cathedral. The 10-sided Chapter House, was used for a number of scenes in the recent Da Vinci Code film, when Westminster Abbey refused to allow filming to take place there.

Against such a beautiful and history back-drop, the Chapel Choir, Flute Group, Wind Sextet and Guitar Ensemble produce a concert of a very high standard, testament to the hard work put in over the past months.

Solos from Jake P, Lucy E, Isobel E, Phoebe A and Michael H showed the creme de la creme on music at the school.    

Thanks go to Nichola Dinnigan and Katy Strudwick for their directing of Guitar Ensemble, Flute Group and Wind Sextet, and for accompanying the Chapel Choir.

With the tour only three days away, there is a buzz in the air at school.   Latest news of the Tour should hopefully appear on the website on a regular basis during the tour.
