Netball Success

Well done to our Netballers:

We played 4 matches and WON 4.

The U13A WON 15 - 11 against last years Regional IAPS winners - and undefeated this season (until now that is!).  It was a fine performance particularly from Player of the match Charlotte P. Overall it was top class netball and the team now need to continue this standard of play working up to the IAPS Regionals in a few weeks time.

The U12A WON an impressive 16 - 6.  Player of the match was Georgia R- S who skilfully worked the ball up to the shooters to allow continuous shots on goal. It was great to see a come back from Fleur G who played some outstanding netball, particularly her accurate shots on goal. Georgina H and Charlotte P also had great games - well done to all

U11A WON 17 - 10. Players of the match were Lily S and Nancy S.  It was great to see good strong shooting from Gabriella T and Olivia C.  Overall a fine performance against a solid Ranby side.

U10A WON a very close 5 - 4. Player of the match was Annie G- P.   There was some tight defence and when S. Anselm's managed to intercept the ball and had possession, it was then very important to get the ball in the net!  At times the shooters found this difficult.  Shooters it is important to get lots of shooting practice over the holidays!!

To play a school larger than us (they have twice as many girls to select their sides from) and to defeat them across the board shows how strong our girls sport is !
