Nursery Nativity and party

The Nursery Nativity Play

The Nursery Nativity Play got off to a flying start whilst the very excited cast were getting ready in their costumes.  Mrs Northcott enjoyed mulled wine and mince pies with all the parents and grandparents at Hillside prior to the grand performance.  It was lovely to see last years pupils watching the performance along with all siblings of the performers both in Pre-Prep and the Prep school.

It was certainly a fabulous play with Maisy H and Angus L playing Mary and Joseph.  It was super to see Mrs Hill once again supporting the play musically and it was great to see everybody up on the stage.

It was also evident that the 3/4 year old pupils were certainly not phased by performing in front of a 70 plus audience.  Well done to all performers there are certainly a few Christmas stars in the making!

On Wednesday, the Nursery had their Christmas party.......... in the pool!

All the children were welcomed with inflatable santa's, inflatable snowmen and twinkling Mrs Northcott!

Mrs Knowles once again led a super swim session which involved lots of fun activities in the water and the children even managed to sing jingle bells and When Santa got stuck up the Chimney!  Christmas Fun Fun Fun before their Christmas Party in the Foster Building Common room.  The children were delighted to see the party food and an exciting game of pass the parcel ended a full day full of Christmas surprises and delights!  A huge thank you to Mrs Maclean and Mrs Robinson for organising such festive and fun activities over the past few days.  Lots of smiles and giggles from the little ones certainly suggests that they have had the perfect lead up to christmas!
