A dinner was held on Saturday evening to celebrate the re-launch of the Old Anselmian Society. The evening was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.

The evening began with a drinks reception in the Foster Common Room where guests were warmly welcomed by Sally Machin, Katrina Mayson, Martha Marriott, Simon and Michelle Northcott. Dan Eaton and his team of archivists displayed an impressive array of artefacts and records which have been researched and catalogued over the past year.

Guests were given a tour of the school by current pupils. Needless to say much had changed over the years as they were shown the indoor swimming pool, new ICT suite and interactive whitebards. The children learnt much too as Old Anselmians reminisced. All agreed student life today is so much better.

Guests took their seats for an impressive dinner put on by Julie Greatrex and her staff in the S. Anselm's kitchen.
Paul Potts (1963) and Charles Sale(1960) very kindly spoke during dinner. Both entertained guests with memories of their time at S. Anselm's.

A huge thank you must go to Sally Machin, Martha Marriott and Katrina Mayson for all their tireless efforts in contacting ex pupils and in organising such a memorable evening.
The Old Anselmian Society is keen to hear from all ex pupils and invite all OA's to keep in touch at at the following address; old.anselmian@hotmail.co.uk. Please let us know the year you left and what you have done/ are doing now.
