The weather was kind to us and what was left of the hurricane could not lessen the quality of the shotmaking on this highly competitive and charged day.
We were delighted to welcome our first girl competitor and all girl team to the competition and they came a very creditable 4th position.
The closing holes saw some superb golf and the winning margin was a slender one: congratulations go to team Litchfield who narrowly came second to the overall winners on the 2011 competition: Team Mallinson (35 points) who are pictured here with my long suffering partner (who had to play recovery shot after recovery shot as I sent him to the wild extremes of the course – many apologies).
