Form 3 visited Lower Hurst Farm near Hartington. This farm provides our school which the organic beef which is used to prepare our school meals.
The children learned about organic farming and how food is brought from the field to the table.
They enjoyed a great tractor and trailer ride around the farm looking at the different cows, calves and 2 very handsome bulls!
After a delicious lunch, the children had a go at making their own meatballs- and are now ready to dazzle their families with their new coking skills!
