Happy New Year Everybody! Hope this finds you all well rested and raring to go for the netball term!
Just a reminder of tomorrow's pre-season netball training for all girls in years 7 and 8. Thank you to all those parents who have already replied to my email sent at the end of last term; and don't worry if you haven't replied as yet, your daughter is still very welcome to join us. Please meet in the sports hall at 2pm and remember to bring a drink and high energy snack with you. All girls should wear their normal games kit and indoor trainers.
Day pupils can be collected from the sports hall at 5pm.
Boarders may store their trunks and other luggage in the foyer of the sports hall on arrival and will be given supper after the training has finished. You are welcome to collect your daughter from the Dining Hall at 6.45pm, if you wish to accompany her to her boarding house and help her to unpack. The remaining boarders will be escorted to their boarding houses at 7pm and assisted with their luggage.
The pre-season training will be led by Mrs Northcott and myself and although it is by no means compulsory; with our first matches against Foremarke Hall at home, at 2pm, on Saturday 7th January, it will provide a vital kick start to the netball season for our senior girls.
