Quiz Night 2012

On Saturday Night 177 parents, friends, teachers and even a team of past pupils assembled in the Sports Hall to enjoy a very entertaining quiz, expertly compiled by Sandy & Maureen Caudwell. Heads were scratched, brains were stretched, some impressed their team mates, some impressed themselves, all impressed Maureen, who was in charge of the scoreboard.

A delicious Pie and Pea Supper was served, and the bar didn’t quite run dry. There was a great atmosphere throughout the night, everyone had a thoroughly good timeand Mrs B, following in the footsteps of her superb netball teams, led her team Dutch Courage to victory.

The Tour Fund Committee would like say a huge thank you to everyone who came along on the evening, you raised an outstanding £2,800.00, which will boost the Tour Fund coffers nicely and help to assist in sending more S.Anselm’s pupils on tour.

Thanks also the Sandy and Maureen Caudwell for their excellent quiz, and to everyone who helped on the night.
