Reception class jumped onto Bill’s mini bus and set off for Bakewell to visit the Sorting Office. We met David who kindly showed us around. We are learning about People who help us and have learnt a lot about postal workers and the kind of jobs they have to do. We were looking for the S.Anselm’s sorting rack, which we found very quickly. We also found Jamie’s sorting rack and those of Mrs. Rogers and Mrs. Robinson. The racks were empty as the post had already set off in vans to be delivered. We had a great time and really enjoyed looking at the lift which carries all the post upstairs.
