Sunday afternoon saw the first official outing for S.Anselm's Ski Club. Six pupils took to the slopes at Sheffield Ski Village in preparation for their trip to Les Deux Alpes next week. After getting used to all the kit - boots clipped, skis clacked, helmets buckled - they had an intensive two hour session with an instructor (thanks to Mrs Edwards for organising this).
All the children impressed Mr Carr with their S.Anselm's spirit - steely determination combined with a good dose of fun!
The mini bus battled back through real snow just in time for the two Tom's to get to their boarders' feast. All did well but most improved goes to Livi and Lexi, with Tom C getting the award for the silliest sunglasses.
Every child will have an opportunity to ski next term as Ski Club extra gets underway. Please email Mr Carr for details john.carr@anselms.co.uk.
