U11 v Foremarke Tournament

Hopes were high as the under 11 team set off for the Foremarke Hall tournament. We knew we would have our work cut out as we were drawn against two very good schools.

Our first match was against Bromsgrove. It was a fiercely fought game but unfortunately despite having many shots at goal, luck was not on our side and the first match resulted in a 5-3 loss. Mistakes were made in the first half and it was good to see them rectified in the second half. 

The second match was against Grace Dieu which we won 6 - 1. We played some super netball and passing down court was superb. Chloe again dominated the game covering the whole court and intercepting the ball at every opportunity.

We then played the King Henry VIII ( Coventry Prep). This was another tough game where again we had many opportunities to shoot but again our luck was against us. It was a nail biting game and so close! At the final whistle we were down 5- 6. We therefore did not make it through to the finals or the semi finals. We did have a final game to determine 5th and 6th place. We played Ranby and won 6-4 which meant we finished in 5th place.

We may not have won the tournament but it was a super day. I was so proud of the way the girls battled on despite their losses.
