As mentioned in my latest newsletter this year has been a record in terms of Scholarships and Awards. If we thought the 20 scholarships and awards out of 32 pupils last year was exceptional, the pupils this year have out trumped them. We have achieved a marvellous 23 scholarships and awards this season including the top scholarship to Repton, and other scholarships and awards to Oundle, Repton, Malvern College, St Edwards. Rugby, Giggleswick and Wycombe Abbey.
It goes without saying that there were also a number of near misses for many others - so it might have been even better!
Finally good luck to those about to sit CE next week. They have been working hard and so they are giving themselves the best possible chance of success.
