Senior House Hockey

On Saturday afternoon in cold damp conditions on Top Field a very competitive Senior House Hockey Competition was fought out with the result being in doubt right up to the end of the final round of matches. Eventually Alfred Hingley managed to rally his Pitts team to just edge out Ollie Nolan’s Wellingtons team, both teams playing with passion and skill.
The other teams, Churchills led by Rufus Litchfield were competitive in all of their matches but just could not put the ball in the net. Seth Amos kept his Nelsons team working until the end of each match and never did they give up.
There was great support as ever from the parents, which made a great atmosphere for the afternoon.
