Sports Day Results

The S. Anselm’s Sports Day 2011 took place on Friday 10th June amid glorious sunshine and the odd summer shower. However this did not dampen anyone’s spirits.

The fantastic atmosphere was enhanced by a full and busy schedule, which ran like clockwork. It was great to see the Year 3’s competing on sports day for the first time. One boy commented it was like running in the Olympics! After Wednesday’s preliminary events the scene was set for a very close competition. There were only one or two wins separating 1st and 4th position. We were delighted that Mrs Booker was able to give out the prizes on this occasion. (Full results will be posted at a later date)
