The term has got off to a super start with a sunny and warm day in Derbyshire. This term has seen some pupils and staff struggle to get back in time, due to the volcanic ash in Iceland and its impact upon flights. Some 18 students have not made it back and two staff are stranded.

Despite this it has been normal service and lessons have got off to a smooth start once the Headmaster had urged them to mirror nature and spring into life and action.
The Hillcrest girls have also given a warm welcome to the Seddon family who are looking after them.

With the whole prep school out doing cricket and rounders on a summery top field it has been the perfect start.
