As the rain and thunder came down at 7am some may have felt that today was going to be a bit of a wash out and a let down but S. Anselm's pupils are made of sterner stuff!
Mr Franklin was first out of the blocks and took an eager bunch off to Old Trafford where they spent a magical day rounded off by some very successful autograph hunting!

Then Mr Speed darted into school and grabbed an elite group who went mountain biking down the Tissington Trail as a trial for next term's mountain biking extra.

Ready for the off!

Focus!

Focus x2!

Off home!
Not to be out done, Mr Northcott took the 4th years out to Adventure Quest to help him sort out the men from the boys and the ladies fom the girls! As you can see it was awesome fun and the 4th year really proved that they have plenty to offer!

Mrs Seddon gave her girls a real treat and took her girls out for lunch at the Old Smithy in Beely and then to the cinema to watch The Tooth Fairy.

Last but not least, the 5th year boys and girls had a slow and relaxed day in preparation for CE next week. The heavy rain had made croquet on the lawn impossible but they still had a cream tea and were allowed to do some cooking and have a swim in between some good revision sessions.
Tonight the houses shut down early so that everybody is on tip top form for the exams this coming week. GOOD LUCK!
