Talented youngsters delight the crowd at Thornbridge Hall

On the afternoon of Sunday 4 July, a group of seven Junior Anselmians sang jazz numbers and songs from the shows.

Solos from Mariella, Arabella and Isobel were interspersed by songs sung by the full septet to a very appreciative audience at the Thornbridge Hall Garden Party.

Between the two half-hour sets, the pupils had an opportunity to look around the stalls and buy some lunch, and they all came back with goodies galore.

My huge thanks go to Mrs Weller for coming along and holding my music so it didn't fly off into the distance;  to Scott Green for taking photos;  to all the parents for their support;  but mostly to the children who, once again, have confirmed that we are definitely 'on song' here at S Anselm's.
