On Thursday 2 June, a group of pupils from years 5 and 6 travelled to Tissington to take part in their Ascension Day service at the start of well-dressing week.
The group, accompanied and driven by Mr Weller and Mrs Lings joined in with the hymns and sang a celtic hymn called 'She Sits like a Bird' on their own, in front of several hundred people in and around the church.
Sir Richard FitzHerbert was impressed with how the children behaved and sang, and we've been invited back for next year's event on 17th May.
