Toddler Group opens

Toddler Group opens

The new Toddler group in the school has got off to a flying start. The group called “Little Anselmians” is open to parents and carers with children from birth to 3 years of age; they meet in the school Common room every Monday between 9.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m.

The group is led by Gemma Allen in consultation with Mrs. Wheatley in the Nursery.
The group gives children the opportunity to play, and the adults the chance to chat and support each other.
The sessions will include craft activities, messy play, heuristic and sensory play, and other exciting and educational opportunities and advice. A singing, story and outdoor play session are also included. The activities will vary from week to week.

This week the children had minty dough to explore, scrubbing brushes and soap, which made wonderful bubbles, to manipulate, a treasure basket of interesting natural items to experience and many more stimulating and exciting resources to play with. They were having fun and learning to play within a happy, safe, and welcoming environment.

If you are interested in attending or know someone who may be please speak to Mrs. Wheatley in the Nursery.
