The SA girls were certainly on form again for their third match of the season. Despite losing the toss, the girls quickly gained possession and more or less kept it for the entire game.

Amber and Tara were certainly on form in the goal, between them scoring a total of 11 goals. When the ball did venture into the opposition’s area, Holly, Tilly and Natalie were able to gain possession through good defending and snatching, and quickly feed it back to the attackers. Grace played particularly well as Centre and covered the court very ably.

Due to the difference in ability being quite apparent, the team was radically rearranged in the final quarter. The girls were very sporting and even though most were quite out of their comfort zone they all continued to play to the best of their ability. Constance W even scored the final goal to seal the win of 12 – 0.

Congratulations this week to Grace and Amber for playing so well, and to all the girls for another great win.
