Player of the Match – Evie D
Unfortunately, the first game of the season did not go in our favour at all. Although the girls were very enthusiastic, Foremarke simply out played us throughout the game.
The end of the first quarter saw the scores at 2 to S.Anselm's and 5 to Foremarke, thanks to two very good goals from Evie D. These, sadly, were the only goals that we managed to obtain.
Foremarke’s passing and interception were extremely good and highlighted a lot of areas for the S.Anselm's girls to work on in our next training sessions. This match will certainly give the girls a good bench mark of the skills they need to develop in order to be a force on the court!
