Players of the Match - Emily H & Livi B-D
It felt like we had returned to the depths of winter on the bottom court while playing Packwood!
Once the game had eventually commenced, it became immediately obvious the pace of the match was going to be very fast.
The first half saw the SA girls chasing the ball and Packwood having most of the possession. However, Packwood did struggle with their shooting and also had to deal with the added pressure of good defending by Emily H who made their job even more difficult.
Good, quick and decisive passing between Evie and Livi in the D, along with accurate shooting, saw the score 3 – 3 at half time.
The second half saw the SA girls going all out for a win. Laura, Immy and Lily were certainly made to work due to the Packwood girls being very nippy. However, it did make them lift their game even more and try harder to keep possession.
The last quarter was very exciting. Packwood took the lead 5 – 3 only for SA to double their efforts and equalise in the last minute of the game.
