U10A v Sheffield HS Won 17 1/2 - 7 1/2

This afternoon saw another excellent two innings for our girls on a lovely afternoon at Sheffield High School’s Astroturf ground. After two innings of 21 balls the girls beat Sheffield High School 17.5 to 7.5, the same score as last week’s away fixture at the Elms.Fielding was tight once the team got used to the fast paced balls, which ran quickly on the Astroturf. There were excellent catches from Emily H and Issy F, and Clare T continued with her fast, on target bowling. The batting was strong and 10 full rounders were achieved. There were an additional 15 half rounders, giving a total of 17.5 rounders.I have selected Clare T as player of the match: a combination of bowling accurately and batting hard, made her my choice.
