U10 Blue Team v Grace Dieu, AWAY  - Won 7 – 2

U10 Blue Squad: Imogen A, Mimi C, Imogen N, Emily H, Livi BD

After the long trip we finally made it to Grace Dieu. The girls filed out and we made it to the windy, wet pitch. The girls were divided into two teams, so they could all have more involvement and touches in the game.

In the first half the whistle blew and Emily H, Immy N and Mimi C began attacking with determination. Imogen A meanwhile defended superbly, with all the girls passing the ball well. In no time at all Imogen N pushed a strong ball into the goal. The girls continued to work hard, with some brilliant and accurate balls from Livi and some cracking hits from Emily H. Immy N again received the ball, dribbled with it then slotted it into the goal, to score a further two goals.

Grace Dieu then stepped up their game and proceeded to work the ball back up the pitch, in order to score 2 goals back. Mimi and Immy N worked well together, to bring the ball back up the pitch, with Mimi scoring our 4^th goal, using a strong hit.

In the second half the girls continued to use great team work in order to score more goals, two more by Immy N and one more by Mimi C.

A fantastic game, with some lovely hockey played, well done all!
