U11 B v Maidwell Hall Lost 25 -5

Plenty of passion and grit in this performance but Maidwell had the edge in the set scrums and in the rucks. Their tackling was also extremely good and stopped most attempted line breaks. However, S Anselm’s had a far better second half and spent much of the half in the opposition half. Ferocious tackling by man-of-the-match, Tom D, stopped Maidwell on several occasions and a barn storming run by Andrew C resulted in an early try.

Things to work on: quicker rucking; looking for support and passing earlier to the support; more consistent tackling.
