U11 v Hill House, Lost 0 - 3

A much anticipated match today with all of the U11’s having the opportunity to be part of the game.

Ably captained by Mimi C, the team won the toss and took the first centre pass.  The play was very back and forth with both teams trying hard to score but keeping play very much down the centre of the pitch.

In the first half, Emily H and Evie D worked extremely hard with support from Mimi and Lexi on the wings.  The backs, Livi and Imogen tried hard and did have success clearing the ball although the hits did occasionally lack power and again went down the centre rather than to the wings.

Unfortunately, Hill House seemed to dominate the second half of play despite the fresh legs of Immy N and Lily H.  Laura D made some fantastic saves but there was not always the quick reactions needed from the backs.

A sterling effort from all the girls despite the loss.  A special thanks as well to our wonderful parents who are always on hand to support the team.
