U11A v Ranby House Won by 73 runs

An excellent match played in a very good spirit by both sides ended with a sound victory to S Anselm’s. Having lost the toss, S Anselm’s were put in to bat and managed a very respectable 123 runs in their 20 overs, for the loss of 6 wickets.

Ludo L was the leading scorer with 27 runs, before being bowled. Bertie S also scored a creditable 17 not out, with Toby C assisting with 12 not out. Ranby came in to bat before a late tea and there followed a dramatic tumble of wickets, at one point 9 for 6 wickets. Man of the Match Ludo L L took four wickets, three of them in a hat trick. George M, Jonah G, Toby C and Max W also took wickets. Bowlers were rotated and Ranby finally managed to score 50 runs before all wickets were lost after 15 overs.
