U-11 'A' v. Ranby (away)

This was a better performance that that against Grace Dieu but Ranby were by some distance a less formidable team. We made a poor start by gifting them a first-minute goal but fought our way into the game and were, perhaps, the better team approaching half-time. Unfortunately, we then seemed to run out of steam for the second half, energy levels dropped and we were pinned back into our own half. Even so, Ranby only created one more goal, the other was another generous gift!
The next match is on Wednesday so hopefully the team will be able to build on this stronger showing. Every one played their part so there was no obvious man-of-the-match; perhaps anyone who can score a goal will be able to claim that accolade on Wednesday! We certainly need to get on the scoresheet.
