After a very well deserved victory against Maidwell Hall, confidence was high within the team. Early on in the match we started very well, showing our strength in defence as well as our ability with the ball in hand. Some very good counter attacking allowed Oli R to score a try. Unfortunately our rucking and ball retention was not good enough as we squandered possession on too many occasions. Smallwood Manor scored 2 tries before the half time and we trailed by 14 points to 5. In the second half our rucking did not really improve and Smallwood scored another 2 tries but Oli R responded with his second of the game.
