U11B v Terra Nova Won by 6 wickets

Terra Nova won the toss and chose to bat first. They scored 67 runs in their 20 overs, for the loss of 7 wickets. Some excellent bowling, particularly from Cameron D, put them under pressure and we took some excellent catches. After tea, and a quick catch-up with the football scores, we came out to bat and passed their total in the eleventh over, having lost 4 wickets. Again, Cameron D particularly caught the eye with a top score of 15 before being bowled. He was ably supported by Harvey W and later on by Fred B-B. This was a good team performance. The fielding was tight on the whole and the bowling much improved. We still need to move our feet more when batting – too many wild shots, which led to the loss of early wickets.
